Olubode Ojajuni, ex-Lagos police spokesperson, elected into INTERPOL Africa committee

Olubode Ojajuni, a commissioner of police and former spokesperson of the Lagos command, has been elected into the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) African committee. A statement released Friday by Muyiwa Adejobi, force spokesperson, said Olajuni secured for Nigeria the fifth seat on the committee with a tenure of two years. Adejobi said Kayode Egbetokun, inspector-general of police, commended Olajuni for his feat and commitment to professionalism in the police.
