Wike votes in Rivers LG polls, rejects reports of apathy

Voting and accreditation have commenced in the local government elections taking place in Rivers state. Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), cast his vote at about 10:30am on Saturday in his polling unit at Obio/Akpor LGA. Speaking after casting his ballot, Wike countered reports of voter apathy. “That is not correct. In most cases, the election starts at 10am in the morning.
