Insecurity: Sit up or resign – Labour Party tells Tinubu

The Nenadi Usman-led faction of the Labour Party has taken a swipe at President Bola Tinubu as the security situation worsens, calling on him to step up or resign from office. The factional National Publicity Secretary of the party, Tony Akeni, made this call in a statement on Thursday in Abuja. The party accused Tinubu, as well as the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of failing, particularly in the area of security, despite allocating over N6.5 trillion and several billions of US dollars to defence spending in the last decade.
