Zoning unconstitutional, PDP never insisted on North when Yar’Adua died – Dele Momodu

Veteran journalist, Dele Momodu, has maintained that zoning of presidential ticket is not constitutional. Momodu said all competent and qualified Nigerians should be allowed to contest for the presidency. His comment comes amid the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, zoning of its presidential ticket to the South. The former ruling party had taken the decision during its National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting in Abuja. However, Momodu recalled that PDP never zoned after former President Musa Yar’Adua died.
