NEMA Rolls Out Flood Preparedness Initiative in Bauchi

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has launched a robust flood preparedness campaign across four Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Bauchi State: Shira, Giade, Jama’are, and Itas Gadau, with Shira LGA as the campaign’s hub.Spearheaded by Ummuna Ahmed, Head of Operations, the initiative aims to bolster community resilience against seasonal flooding through early warning systems, stakeholder partnerships, and grassroots engagement.
