Makinde approves Ladoja’s nomination as 44th Olubadan

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the nomination of a former governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland. Ladoja is the current Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland. He was recently nominated as the Olubadan-designate by the kingmakers in Ibadanland. The coronation of the former governor has been fixed for Friday, 26th September 2025. The event is expected to hold at the ancient Mapo hall.
