Kogi Governor's Father Laid to Rest

The Kogi State community gathered in solemn reverence today as Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, the father of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, was laid to rest at his residence in Upogoro, Okene, following his passing on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 83. The revered patriarch, widely respected for his devotion to family, faith, and community, was buried in accordance with Islamic rites, as confirmed by the Kogi State Government.The funeral, marked by heartfelt prayers and tributes, saw an outpouring of condolences from across Nigeria.
