Ijoba Lande, the Nigerian comedian, has claimed he is being blackmailed with a deepfake AI video that falsely depicts him in a compromising situation with a married woman. The comedian took to his Instagram page on Sunday to raise the alarm, calling for urgent government regulation of artificial intelligence to prevent what he described as an impending wave of damage from such malicious content.
