Nigeria may not be functional in few decades to come – Adamu Garba

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, has warned that Nigeria risks collapse within a few decades if the country fails to overhaul its political and governance systems. Garba gave the warning in a statement via his X handle on Sunday, saying the biggest threat to Nigeria’s democracy is what he described as the “industrialization of politics,” where political victories take precedence over effective governance. The APC chieftain noted that while politicians focus on winning elections, critical sectors such as health and education remain underfunded and mismanaged. (…)
