EFCC Hands Over N100m Recovered Funds to Federal Ministry in Uyo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday, handed over a draft of N100 million to the Federal Ministry of Solid Mineral Development in Akwa Ibom State. The funds, recovered from mining companies defaulting on royalty payments to the government, were presented by Assistant Commander of the EFCC (ACE1) Oshodi Johnson, Zonal Director of the Uyo office, on behalf of EFCC Executive Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede.The brief ceremony took place at the EFCC’s Uyo office, where Oshodi emphasized the Commission’s commitment to transparency and accountability in recovering (…)
