Gunmen Kidnap Woman and Daughter in Kano, Injure Teen Son

In a brazen attack, armed gunmen stormed the home of Alhaji Audu Shehu in Yarmariya village, Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State, abducting his 50-year-old wife, Mrs. Laure Audu, and their 15-year-old daughter, Miss Basira Audu. The assault occurred around 1:45 a.m. on August 8, 2025, according to sources who spoke to security analyst Zagazola Makama.The attackers, wielding dangerous weapons, also shot Alhaji Audu’s 13-year-old son, Ibrahim Audu, in the left leg.
