NNPC sacks pump attendant, suspends manager over attempt to defraud customer

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC, Retail Limited has dismissed a pump attendant and suspended a station manager over an alleged attempt to defraud a customer at one of its outlets in Ikorodu, Lagos State. In a statement issued on Friday, the company said it became aware of the incident after a video showing the pump attendant’s misconduct went viral on social media.
