The Federal Government of Nigeria has paid the second tranche of the N35,000 wage award arrears to federal workers, marking another step in fulfilling its commitment to support public sector employees amid economic challenges. The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) confirmed the disbursement in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, signed by Bawa Mokwa, Director of Press and Public Relations.The payment is part of a five-month wage award arrears package, with the first tranche already disbursed earlier this year.
