Man Arraigned in Ibadan Court for Threatening Gov Adeleke's Life

Rasaq Gafar, a 32-year-old man, was arraigned on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, before the Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan for allegedly threatening the life of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke. The incident reportedly occurred on July 12 in Ibadan.Prosecutor Matthew Ojei told the court that Gafar posted threatening messages on social media targeting the governor and conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace.
