Gbenga Komolafe, CEO of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, revealed at an energy conference that Nigeria’s oil production reached 1.8 million barrels per day in July, averaging 1.78 million barrels daily. The surge, driven by improved security measures, aligns with efforts to boost output by an additional 1 million barrels per day, targeting a total of 3 million barrels daily.
