Gunmen Ambush and K!ll Two Police Officers Escorting Ebonyi Majority Leader in Imo

Unidentified gunmen k!lled two police officers attached to Kingsley Ikoro, the Majority Leader of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, in an ambush in Okigwe, Imo State, on Sunday, August 3. The attack occurred while the officers were traveling with Ikoro’s entourage. A vehicle breakdown forced the officers to stay behind, leaving them vulnerable to the assault.Okigwe is known as a hotspot for violent attacks in the state.
