Man Rescued After 10 Hours Trapped in Abuja Building Collapse

Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command successfully rescued a 27-year-old man trapped for nearly ten hours under the rubble of a collapsed three-storey building in the Life Camp area of Abuja on Saturday, August 2, 2025. The victim, identified as Aliyu Salisu, a citizen of the Niger Republic, was pulled from the debris in a dramatic early-morning operation and is now receiving treatment at Cedar Crest Hospital in Gudu, where he is responding well.The FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident in a statement on Sunday, detailing (…)
