LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Doctors Begin Indefinite Strike Over Unmet Demands

Resident doctors at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, commenced an indefinite strike on July 29, 2025, disrupting medical services as they press for the resolution of long-standing grievances. The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), in a letter dated July 28, 2025, addressed to the hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Prof. Olawale Olakulehin, announced the action after the Oyo State government and hospital management failed to meet their demands following a three-week ultimatum issued on July 8.The strike, led by ARD President (…)
