Yola Flood: 5,560 displaced, 25 dead, 11 missing - NEMA

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has revealed that the recent flood in Yola has displaced 5,560 persons and killed 25 people.The Agency in a situation report released on Tuesday stated that 11 persons were missing, while it is yet to ascertain the number of people injured and unaccounted.The agency, while noting that it has deployed a team to the affected communities, added that it was working with relevant stakeholders in the ongoing search and recovery operations for missing and deceased persons.The report reads, “In continuation of response efforts following the Yola (…)
