Uba Sani sacks information commissioner, appoints Ahmed Maiyaki as replacement

Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, has removed Muhammad Bello from his position as commissioner for information and appointed Ahmed Maiyaki as his replacement. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Ibraheem Musa, the governor’s chief press secretary (CPS), stated that Maiyaki’s appointment is effective immediately. Maiyaki was the managing director of Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) before his appointment as commissioner.
