State of Emergency: Rivers State LG Elections Postponed to August 30, 2025 — RSIEC

The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, has postponed the local government elections in the state to August 30, 2025. This was announced by the state Electoral Chairman, Dr. Michael Ekpali Odey, while delivering his open address at the unveiling of the revised timetable for the Rivers State LG election on Monday.
