Nigerian government deploys armoured vehicles to combat insecurity in Kebbi

The Federal government has dispatched armoured personnel carriers to strengthen security and combat banditry in Kebbi State.The state governor, Nasir Idris made the announcement while inspecting the vehicles at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.The governor noted that Kebbi has been under constant attacks from bandits crossing over from Zamfara and Niger States, launching raids and retreating to their hideouts.
