Seven Injured in Abia Three-Storey Building Collapse

A three-storey building under construction in Umuahia, Abia State, collapsed around 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, along Olokoro Road in the Federal Low-Cost Housing Estate, injuring seven people. The collapse also destroyed a nearby bungalow, home to a family of seven.No deaths were reported, but several victims, including a nursing mother and her five-month-old baby, were rescued from the debris and taken to a hospital for treatment.
