Sanwo-Olu Launches CNG-Powered Trucks,to Boost Food Security

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday inaugurated a fleet of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks as part of the N500 billion ‘Produce for Lagos’ Offtake Guarantee Fund and Programme. The initiative, launched in Lagos, aims to reduce post-harvest losses and enhance food security nationwide, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the trucks will transport food from various parts of Nigeria to Lagos, addressing inefficiencies in storage and transportation.
