Oyebanji installs new Elemure, warns against court actions over royal positions

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on Thursday installed the new Elemure of Emure Ekiti, Oba Babatunde Ajiboye, calling on aggrieved contenders to refrain from embarking on frivolous and tortuous judicial processes to truncate the enthronement of a monarch duly appointed by government in any community.Oyebanji said uniting with a new king always fast-tracks development and fosters peace in a community, rather than engaging in court cases that could stoke divisions and bad blood.The governor gave the admonition in Emure Ekiti while presenting the instrument of appointment and Staff of (…)
