Barr Ibrahim Kashim, former Secretary to the Bauchi State Government and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in 2023, has resigned from the PDP. In a letter dated July 21, 2025, obtained by reporters,, Kashim did not disclose the reasons for his departure.Expressing gratitude to his ward’s PDP leadership, Kashim noted that his membership enabled his nomination as the party’s gubernatorial flag bearer in the 2023 elections.
