Corruption did not thrive under Buhari – Malami

Nigeria’s immediate past Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has pushed back against public criticism of Buhari’s anti-corruption legacy. Appearing on Arise news on Tuesday night, Malami revealed that the late president did not let corruption to thrive during his tenure. According to Malami: “During the period of President Muhammadu Buhari, corruption was not thriving at all,” Malami said firmly. “If you talk of convictions associated with high-profile corruption cases, the government recorded convictions in thousands.” The former AGF said, Nigeria recovered over $2 (…)
