2 men charged for allegedly importing fake condoms in Lagos

Two men were on Friday docked in a Magistrates’ Court in Ikeja, Lagos State, for allegedly importing fake condoms.The police charged Emeka Daniel, 32, and Ugochukwu Eze, 35, whose addresses were not provided, with three counts of conspiracy, forgery and perversion of justice.They pleaded not guilty to the charge.The Prosecutor, SP Josephine Ikhayere, said the offence was committed on June 23 in the Lagos Magisterial district.Ikhayere said the defendants and others, at large, imported fake Kiss condom into the country – both small and large sizes.She alleged they sold the fake condoms while (…)
