Gunmen Kidnap Government Contractor in Delta State, Demand ₦100m Ransom

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Engr. Lucky Ugbo, a government contractor, in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State. The kidnapping occurred around 8:45 pm, four days prior to the ransom demand, at Ugbo's residence along Isah Road in the community.Heavily armed gunmen invaded Ugbo's residence and took him away at gunpoint. The abductors contacted Ugbo's family on Sunday, July 13, demanding a N200 million ransom, which was later reduced to N100 million.The community is living in fear following the incident, with many calling for increased security (…)
