The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, July 15, a public holiday in honour of the late former president, Muhammadu Buhari.The declaration is in furtherance of the seven days of national mourning earlier declared by President Bola Tinubu in honour of Buhari.Minister of Interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government.The minister stated that the holiday is a mark of respect for the late president’s service to the nation, his contributions to Nigeria’s (…)
