Oba Sikiru Adetona, the late Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland, has been buried at his private residence in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The revered monarch, who died at 91, was laid to rest on Monday in a private ceremony conducted according to Islamic rites. Dignitaries, royal family members, and high chiefs of the Ijebu traditional council were present at the solemn event. Among those in attendance were Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun; Segun Osoba, ex-governor of Ogun; and former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.
