UK to introduce e-visas for Nigerian study, work applicants July 15

The United Kingdom will begin issuing electronic visas, known as e-visas, to most Nigerian applicants seeking study and work permits starting July 15, 2025. In a statement released on Wednesday, the UK government said successful applicants will no longer receive a physical visa vignette sticker in their passports. Instead, they will be granted a secure online record of their immigration status, which can be accessed and shared digitally.
