JAMB sets 150 as cut-off mark for universities

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for 2025 admissions into Nigeria’s universities. The board decided this on Tuesday during its policy meeting for 2025 tertiary school admissions. Every year, after the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), JAMB holds a policy meeting to agree on student intake criteria ahead of the admission cycle.
