JAMB rectifies FUTA graduate’s admission status after claim of illegality

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rectified the admission status of Jamiu Basola, a 2024 Civil Engineering graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). The development ends weeks of controversy surrounding his eligibility for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme. Adeyemi Ajasa, the PRO of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), confirmed this in a statement on Monday.
