5 suspects face prosecution for ‘forging’ 17,417 tertiary school admission letters

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is prosecuting five ring-leaders for procuring fake tertiary school admission letters to 17,417 candidates. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s spokesperson, said the five confessed to the crime and are being prosecuted at the federal high court in Abuja. He said they were arrested with the assistance of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre following an investigation.
