Rivers LG crisis: Police declares 2 officials wanted

The Rivers State Police Command has declared two senior officials of the Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state wanted for their alleged involvement in the violent attack on the council administrator, Hon. Goodluck Iheanachor.The officials are the Chief Security Officer of Ahoada East LGA, Hector Ekakita, and the council’s Chief of Staff, Mr. Aloni Olodi.Iheanachor is one of the 23 administrators appointed by the State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd) to oversee the affairs of the various councils shortly after he assumed office.This was disclosed in a statement (…)
