Bayelsa CJN thanks government, security agencies, others for rescuing kidnapped judge

The Chief Judge of Bayelsa State, Justice Matilda Abrakasa Ayemieye, has commended the collaborative efforts of security agencies and the Bayelsa State Government in the rescue of Justice Ebiyerin Omukoro from the hands of kidnappers.Omukoro, who was kidnapped on Saturday, June 21 and regained freedom on Thursday, July 3, spent 12 days in captivity.Justice Ayemieye expressed gratitude for his safe rescue.A statement by the Head of Media and Information of the Bayelsa State Judiciary, Mr Julius Nyananyo, on Saturday stated, “The successful outcome is attributed to the tireless efforts of (…)
