The Labour Party’s vice-presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, says President Bola Tinubu has “tried” for keeping vice-president Kashim Shettima for this long. Baba-Ahmed stated this while speaking on Arise TV’s Prime Time on Thursday night. His comments come amid speculation that Tinubu will not keep Shettima as his running mate during the 2027 general elections.
