‘Some are overseers’ — Pastor Kumuyi speaks on Deeper Life’s 15 founding members

William Kumuyi, the general overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, says some of the people who started the church with him are now national and state overseers. Kumuyi spoke during a recent question and answer forum at the church’s headquarters in Lagos. According to information on the church website, in 1973, while serving as math lecturer at the University of Lagos, Kumuyi started a bible study group with 15 university students who had come to him requesting training in the scriptures.
