Gail Fajembola, a Lagos socialite, has filed a fundamental rights enforcement suit at the Federal High Court in Lagos. She seeks an order of perpetual injunction to restrain Olutoy Estate Development & Services Ltd, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), and four others from arresting, detaining, or harassing her over a property dispute.The dispute centers around Flat K9-2, Ocean Parade Towers, Banana Island, Ikoyi, which Fajembola claims she was permitted to occupy by Tunde Ayeni in 2016.Fajembola alleges that the police are being used to intimidate her into evicting a lawful tenant (…)
