NDLEA raises alarm as Calabar records highest number of drug users detainees

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has raised the alarm over the unrestrained abuse of drugs in Calabar and other big towns in Cross River State.In an interview, the Deputy Commander, Operations, of the NDLEA in the Cross River State Command, Victor Bradford, disclosed that there is an unprecedented number of detainees who abused substances in their Calabar facilities than elsewhere.He lamented that there are so many people doing drugs in the state, saying this has become very disturbing.He stated that the fight against drug abuse, organised crime, and illegal drug trade (…)
