Lagos announces alternative routes for Ogudu, Ifako bridge repairs

The Lagos State Government has unveiled a detailed traffic diversion plan ahead of the much-anticipated repair works on the Ogudu/Ifako Bridge.The project, which was previously postponed, is now scheduled to begin on Saturday, June 28, 2025, and will run through Wednesday, October 15, 2025, spanning a total of 110 days.The critical infrastructure repairs will be carried out in eight distinct phases across both directions of the bridge.Each phase will involve partial lane closures, with only a 50-meter section before and after the active work zone affected at any given time.In a statement (…)
