Lagos Govt Seals Timeless, Iceland Beaches Over Violations, Targets 180 Other Sites

The Lagos State government, through the Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development, has sealed off Timeless and Iceland beaches for contravening regulations. Additionally, stop-work orders were served to 180 other buildings in the Okun-Ajah area for various infractions.The ministry said this action was taken due to their failure to comply with previous summons regarding encroachment on state-owned land.The enforcement operation began early in the morning on June 23 and was led by the state commissioner, Dayo Bush Alebiosu.
