Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Igbo socio-cultural group, has hinted at its readiness to be fully involved in national politics. Rising from its election, where Chief Emeka Egwuonwu emerged as President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Cross River State for a four-year term, the group affirmed it would begin to work actively towards the 2027 general election. The election was held today in Ikom, in central Cross River State.
