A disturbing case of kidnapping has sparked fresh fears over rising insecurity in Lagos, as a young woman was abducted in Obalende and only released after a ransom of two million naira was paid. According to social media user @TeemarsBeauty, who identified herself as the victim’s sister, the incident occurred on the evening of June 20th.
