Suspected herdsmen attack SGF Akume’s village 48 hours after Tinubu’s visit

Suspected herdsmen have launched a deadly attack on Wannune community in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State, the hometown of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume. It was gathered that the attack left many dead and several others injured. The assault occurred just 48 hours after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited the state to address the worsening insecurity.
