Benue Killings: Defence Chief Confirms Arrests, Collaboration with DSS and Police

Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, said police have arrested a number of people and that actions were being taken, following the killings that took place in Benue state. Musa disclosed this on Thursday while fielding questions on Arise Television’s Prime Time programme. Recall that over 200 residents of Guma LGA in the state were killed in the past few days by suspected herdsmen, leading to outrage among citizens.
