Benue: We didn’t vote for you on basis of religion, ethnicity – Tor Tiv tells Tinubu

The paramount ruler of the Tiv nation, His Royal Highness, Prof James Ayatse, has called on President Bola Tinubu to do everything to protect the Benue people, saying the people did not vote for him on the basis of religion or ethnicity. Ayatse made the appeal on Wednesday, when Tinubu paid a condolence visit to the state to commiserate with the people over the killing of over 200 persons last Friday.
