‘How come no arrest has been made?’ — Tinubu queries IGP over Benue attack

President Bola Tinubu has criticised Kayode Egbetokun, inspector-general of police, over the “failure” of officers to apprehend perpetrators of the recent deadly attacks in Benue state Speaking at a stakeholders meeting in Makurdi on Wednesday, Tinubu said he expected the police to have made some arrests after the attack in Yelwata, a community in Guma LGA of Benue state, which led to the killing of over 100 people. “Police (referring to the IGP), I hope your men are on alert to listen to information. How come no arrest has been made? I expect there should be an arrest of those criminals,” (…)
