Nigeria Customs Service Intercepts 1,433 Arms and Ammunition in Ogun State

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ogun 1 Area Command, has seized 1,433 rounds of live cartridges and five Dane guns in different parts of the state. The Area Comptroller, Mr. Godwin Otunla, announced this during the handover of the arms and ammunition to the Nigeria Police Force.Otunla said that in line with the inter-agency synergy and national protocol, the Ogun 1 Area Command would be handing over the seized arms and ammunition to the Nigerian Police Force, Ogun State Command, for further investigation.He reiterated the Customs’ strong commitment to safeguarding the national security, (…)
